LLC private art gallery tour
25 LLC member are invited to tour a private art gallery in Wakefield on Friday, October 9 from 10:30-noon. The gallery features over 50 pieces of contemporary art, ceramics, wood and textile objects on display in a converted church. The owner will be on hand to explain her eclectic collection, how she discovers artists and acquires their work. The current display focuses on the theme of Nature. $15 per person, LLC members only.

Cell Phone Photography Club Summersession 2026 Virtual Art Gallery
In this ongoing class, LLC members experiment with cell phone photography and photo editing, while also sharing photos with a congenial group, learning about genres of photography, and learning from each other. Cell Phone Photography Club was led this semester by Ellen Fingeret and Margaret Lawrence.

Collage—cut it, rip it, paste it! LLC Virtual Art Gallery
Cut it, rip it, paste it was the focus of this abstract collage course where class members constructed collages under the guidance of Michael Walczak, an experienced artist (while also learning from each other). A practicing professional collage artist, Michael studied at The Museum School Boston and the Fine Arts Work Center. He has taught at levels from grade school to university and recently to senior citizens in Hamilton House.

If you’ve never been a member of LLC before, give us a try! Pay the membership dues ($40), sign up for one of our terrific courses, and enjoy stimulating learning, discussion, and socializing. We are sure you will be pleased, but if you're not, we will refund your membership dues. Here's how it works.
- Pay the $40 annual membership dues to join LLC.
- Select a course from the catalog, pay the course fee and take the course.
- Shortly after the end of the course, we will send you a brief survey asking for your opinions on several aspects of your experience.
- At the end of the survey, you’ll have the opportunity to request a refund of your membership dues by simply checking Yes, I want to continue as an LLC member, or No, please cancel my membership and refund my dues.
- If you choose to request a refund, we will send you a check for the dues amount you paid and your membership in LLC will be cancelled.
- If at any time in the future you wish to rejoin LLC, you will be asked to pay the annual membership dues in effect at that time and the fees and expenses for any course(s) or events you wish to attend.
- The dues refund offer can only be used once.
GET THE BEST CHANCE TO GET INTO THE COURSE(S) YOU WANT! Many LLC classes fill up very quickly on the first day of registration. We therefore advise you to join LLC before the semester registration opens. This will save you time when you actually register for a class.
