LLC members currently serve as tutors at Providence’s Veazie Street Elementary School. They work with students who are behind in their reading and math skills, helping to improve their learning outcomes, which encourages attendance and general enjoyment of school.
Do you enjoy helping kids learn? This program is ongoing and prior tutoring experience is not required. Email us for more information.

Janice Golden is an experienced lifelong educator who worked with children through adults in her career. Janice founded and led a preschool program for 40 years. She has also tutored adults and designed curriculum for children.
Norma Rossi Mead has served as a volunteer tutor and facilitator/trainer for adult learners.
