In the fall of 2021, LLC member Norma Rossi-Mead launched a pilot project at Veazie Street School under the supervision of the school principal, learning coaches, and teachers.
Twelve LLC members currently serve as tutors, working with students who are behind in their reading and math skills, and helping to improve the learning outcomes of students, which encourages attendance and general enjoyment of school.
Do you enjoy helping kids learn? This program is ongoing and prior tutoring experience is not required. Email us for more information.
